For sale today is a beautiful Ornate Victorian Style ANTIQUE VINTAGE L&L WMC 9137 Glass Crystal Weighing SCALE of JUSTICE, also called LAW / EQUAL / EQUALITY WEIGH BALANCE or Swing Piece. WMC stands for White Metal Company a company from New Jersey that closed down around the year 1960's. This beautiful piece of the olden days is believe to be manufactured by L&L WMC around the year 1930's, where L&L is a glass company known for its lamps, and WMC was known for its ornate metal designs. Functional and works since all pieces in both sides are intact. Overall, in great condition, preowned with minor signs of wear, patina is normal for old antique or vintage pieces. It is a beautiful piece with how old it is, great decorative element, would be a piece to put in a side table or mantle. Each of the 6-inch diameter dish appears to be cut glass crystal / crystals and the 5-inch diameter heavy round base appears to be a marble stone. The metal appears to be brass but since there are not markings, its hard to tell for sure, sold as is. The whole piece measures around 19-1/2 inches in height from bottom to top and around 17 inches width, from left to right. This item is quite heavy and have nice quality.
